Our new game Geo Balance puts countries on a balance scale. One country sits on the left pan, and you add other countries to the right pan until both sides weigh the same.
How many countries does it take to match Brazil? Is Nigeria more crowded than Egypt and France together? You will find out fast - and some answers are surprising.
How it works
- Each level weighs countries by their area or by their population, so a big country or a crowded one is heavy.
- Type a country to drop it on the right pan. You can add up to 5 countries (4 in later levels).
- The beam tilts as the right side gets heavier. Stop when it is nearly level - go over 100% and the scale tips over.
- After a miss you get a hint: how many countries a perfect balance needs and where the biggest one is.
Stars and levels
- 85% earns 1 star, 97% earns 2 and a perfect 99.5% earns 3.
- One star opens the next level, so you can always go back later for the full 3.
- Every level has a perfect answer, and its own board of top players.
Geo Balance has 45 levels. Levels 1-20 are free for everyone, levels 21-35 only need a free account, and levels 36-45 are part of GeoFun+, which unlocks when you reach 1,000 points. Every new star earns points on the world ranking.
