Flag Hive - The Flag Colors Game
Flag Hive is a free flag game about colors. You do not see the flag, only its colors: a honeycomb of 100 tiles, where every tile is 1% of the flag. Japan is 77 tiles of white and 23 of red. Brazil is mostly green, with yellow and a little blue. Read the colors, name the country, and climb 197 levels from the flags everyone knows to the ones only flag experts can name.
How to play
- The hive has 100 tiles. Each tile is 1% of a country's flag, so the tiles show exactly how much of the flag is each color.
- Type a country and press Guess. Hover a color under the hive to light up its tiles and count them.
- After each guess you see how far away your country is, the direction to go, and which of its colors are also in the mystery flag.
- Every wrong guess unlocks a clue. If your guess has exactly the same colors as the answer (a color twin), it is free.

About Flag Hive
Most flag quizzes show you the flag. Flag Hive shows you only its colors, measured from the flag itself, so you have to know what each flag is made of. Easy levels are the famous flags. Master levels are the small island nations and the flags that share almost the same colors. Harder bands also give you fewer guesses and fewer clues.

How do you play Flag Hive?
You see a honeycomb of 100 tiles painted in the colors of a country's flag, one tile for each 1% of the flag. Type the country you think it is. Each wrong guess shows how far away and in which direction the answer is, which colors your guess shares with it, and unlocks a new clue.
How are the colors measured?
Each flag is drawn at full detail and every pixel is counted, so the tiles show the real share of each color, including stars, emblems and coats of arms.
How many levels are there?
There are 197 levels, one for every flag, in five bands from Easy to Master. Each level gives you a random flag from its band that you have not beaten yet.
What is a color twin?
Some flags have almost exactly the same colors in the same amounts, like Monaco and Indonesia. If you guess a flag that is a color twin of the answer, the guess is free and does not count.
Is Flag Hive free?
Yes. Levels 1 to 7 need no account, a free account unlocks level 8 and up, and levels 80 and up are part of GeoFun+, which you unlock by collecting 1,000 points.
