New Game: Fit the Giant

Fit the Giant on GeoFunGames: the outline of Brazil filled with India, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Bolivia

Our new game Fit the Giant shows you the outline of a huge country and asks one question: which smaller countries add up to the same area?

India, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Bolivia together fill almost exactly Brazil. Could you have guessed that? Maps make sizes tricky, and this game lets you test your sense of scale with real numbers.

How it works

  • Each level shows one giant country, like Brazil, Australia or Russia, and its area.
  • Type a country to drop its real shape into the outline. You can add up to 5 countries (4 in later levels).
  • Every shape is scaled to its true share of the giant, and the meter shows how full it is.
  • Stop when it is nearly full - go over 100% and the shapes burst out of the outline.
  • After a miss you get a hint: how many countries a perfect fit needs and where the biggest one is.

Stars and levels

  • 85% earns 1 star, 97% earns 2 and a perfect 99.5% earns 3.
  • One star opens the next level, and every level has its own board of top players.

Fit the Giant has 42 levels. Levels 1-18 are free for everyone, levels 19-30 only need a free account, and levels 31-42 are part of GeoFun+, which unlocks when you reach 1,000 points. Every new star earns points on the world ranking.
