There is a new Explorer Ranks page on the site: eighteen ranks, one story, and a badge for every step of the climb from Rookie Explorer to Celestial Sovereign. Open it to see where you stand, how many points the next rank needs, and the line of story that unlocks when you get there.
Every game you play moves you forward - dailies, 1v1 matches, puzzles and lessons all count.
What you will find
- All 18 ranks in order, with the badge and point threshold for each one.
- Your current rank and a progress bar toward the next tier.
- A short story line for every rank you have reached - ranks above your level stay locked until you earn them.
- A link straight to the global leaderboard when you want to see how you compare.
All 18 badges, redrawn
Every rank icon on the site is new. The whole set was illustrated from scratch, and the artwork now tells the same story the words do: the early ranks are brass compasses, folded maps and trail markers, the middle ranks become emblems, and the last few leave the map entirely for telescopes, astrolabes and crowned globes.
You will see the new badges everywhere a rank appears - next to your name in the top bar, beside every player on the leaderboard, and on your dashboard. Nothing changed about how you earn them, so a round of today's dailies moves you along exactly as before.
