Each level shows the outline of one big country, like Brazil or Australia, and its area.

  2. 2

Fit the Giant on GeoFunGames: the outline of Brazil filled with the shapes of smaller countries

How many countries fit in a giant?

Maps can fool you: Greenland looks as big as Africa, and Europe looks bigger than it is. Fit the Giant lets you test your sense of size with real numbers. Each level is the outline of a giant country, and you fill it with the areas of smaller countries until it is full.

Every country you drop in keeps its real shape, scaled to its share of the giant. The areas come from 190 countries, and every level has a perfect answer, so it is always possible to fill the giant to 99.5% or more.

Fit the Giant FAQ

Is Fit the Giant free?

Yes. Levels 1-18 are free for everyone, levels 19-30 need a free account and levels 31-42 are part of GeoFun+.

Where do the areas come from?

Area is the total area of a country in square kilometres, including lakes and rivers, rounded the same way for every country.

What happens if I go over 100%?

The countries no longer fit and burst out of the outline. That attempt earns no stars, but you can try the same level again straight away.

Is there always a perfect answer?

Yes. Every level was built around 3 or 4 countries that fill the giant to 99.5% or more. After a miss you get a hint: how many countries you need and where the biggest one is.

Is there anything after level 42?

Some players say there is a hidden vault somewhere in Fit the Giant. Finish every level to find out.
