Thailand: what its road lines look like
Thailand paints a bright, solid yellow line between opposite directions, and traffic keeps to the left, so that line appears on your right.
On divided highways the yellow line runs along the right edge, beside the grass strip or the barrier. Concrete road surfaces and rows of electricity poles are common too.
Yellow lines are used across the country, on rural roads and on the big highways.
Look-alikes: how to tell them apart
Japan also drives on the left, but its centre line is orange and much of its paint is white. Ireland has yellow on the edge of the road, dashed rather than solid.
