Big update for multiplayer fans: in any multiplayer game you can now challenge a specific player to a 1v1. Until now, 1v1 matches only happened through random matchmaking or by sharing a room link - now you can pick exactly who you want to play.
Just open a game lobby and you will find a new "Challenge a player" panel.
How it works
- Search for a player by name. Each result shows their country flag, their rank in that game, and a green dot if they are online right now.
- Send a challenge with one tap. It is a ranked match, so it counts toward your rating.
- No scheduling needed - once you both say yes, we connect you the moment you are next online together and show a "Play now" prompt.
- See a familiar name? Re-challenge a recent opponent straight from the lobby.
You are in control
Privacy is built in. From your dashboard you can choose whether you are discoverable, decide who is allowed to challenge you, hide your online status, and block anyone you would rather not hear from.
