Where Am I? is here: you land on a real street somewhere in the world, look around in 360° and pin where you think you are. It is our take on GeoGuessr, and it is free.
Read the signs, the cars, the road lines and the landscape, then see how close you got.
How it works
- Drag to look around and zoom in. Click the arrows on the road, or press W and S, to walk a few steps.
- Open the map, place your pin and press Guess. The closer you are, the more points: up to 5,000 a round.
- After each round you see the real place and how you could have told: three tells for that country, like the side of the road or the colour of the centre line.
100 levels in 10 chapters
Start in Europe and travel through the Americas, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and Oceania, then on to big cities, country roads, look-alike countries and the World Master final. Some levels let you walk, some give you only one look, some give you 60 seconds a round, and every chapter ends with a five-round boss level.
Score 35% of a level's points for one star and the next level opens. 60% earns two stars and 80% earns three. Levels 1-10 are open to everyone, levels 11-70 need a free account and levels 71-100 are for GeoFun+ players.
Real streets, 87 countries
The 330 street views are 360° photos shared by people on Mapillary (CC BY-SA 4.0), shown in our own viewer. Every round credits the person who took it.
