Learn Middle East Geography by Playing
The Middle East is small on the map and dense with look-alikes: four Gulf states with red, white and black flags, capitals that people swap without noticing, and borders that run straight through the desert. These games take it one question at a time, and every one of them is free to play in your browser.

About our Middle East games
The capitals and flags quizzes use the same fourteen countries, so learning one helps with the other: once you know Doha is the capital of Qatar, telling its maroon flag from Bahrain's red one gets easier. The Name the Cities rounds go deeper, asking for the largest cities inside a single country.
If you would rather revise before being tested, the Middle East lesson at the bottom of the page covers the same ground in a readable format, ending with a short quiz.

Fourteen countries: Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
Which Middle East game should I start with?
The capitals quiz is the gentlest entry point. The flags quiz is harder, because several flags share the same four colours.
