About ReMap Asia: Place Asian Countries by Shape

ReMap Asia is a geography puzzle that tests how well you know the Asian map by shape alone. Asian countries are removed and shown as pieces on the side. Drag each piece back to its correct outline. No labels — just outlines and your memory of Asia.

How to Play ReMap Asia

  1. Choose a difficulty: Easy (fewer countries), Medium, or Hard (more Asian countries to place).
  2. Look at the Asia map: empty outlines show where each country belongs.
  3. Drag a piece from the right panel and drop it onto the matching outline on the map.
  4. Correct placement fills the outline and counts toward your score. Wrong placement costs a life (you have three).
  5. Use the + / − buttons or mouse wheel to zoom; drag the map to pan across Asia.
  6. Place every piece before you run out of lives to win. Your time is recorded.

Tips for ReMap Asia

  • Start with distinctive shapes (e.g. Japan, India, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia) to build confidence.
  • Use the zoom controls to inspect Southeast Asia or the Middle East and avoid mixing similar outlines.
  • Easy mode is great for learning Asian geography; move to Medium and Hard as you improve.

Why Play ReMap Asia?

ReMap Asia sharpens your knowledge of Asian geography by shape. From the Middle East to East Asia, placing countries by outline alone is a clear test. Try ReMap World, Europe, Africa, or US States for other regions.

ReMap Asia – Frequently Asked Questions

How do I play ReMap Asia?

Drag Asian country pieces from the right panel and drop them onto the matching outline on the Asia map. Correct placements stay; wrong ones cost a life. Place all pieces before losing three lives to win.

What do Easy, Medium, and Hard mean in ReMap Asia?

They set how many Asian countries you must place: Easy has fewer (e.g. 10), Medium more (e.g. 22), and Hard the most. The map outlines and pieces change with each difficulty.

Can I zoom and pan the Asia map?

Yes. Use the + and − buttons on the map, or the mouse wheel, to zoom. Click and drag the map to pan. A reset button returns the view to the default.

Is ReMap Asia free?

Yes. ReMap Asia is free to play in your browser. You can also play ReMap World, Europe, Africa, and US States with no sign-up required.

Why did my placement count as wrong in ReMap Asia?

Each outline matches exactly one Asian country. Dropping a piece on the wrong outline costs one life. Use zoom to compare shapes, especially in regions with similar-sized countries.
